Welcome to the Lakes Area school of Highland Dance website! Our school provides elite training in the art of traditional, Scottish Highland Dance in a fun and nurturing environment.
While our main focus is competitive dancing, we also train for recreational purposes as well. Our dancers have competed and performed all over North America, winning many awards along the way. You can also see our dancers perform annually at the Canterbury Village Scottish Days and at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
The Lakes Area School of Highland Dance was established in 2003 by Jennifer Miller Pierson, former Regional, US National and International Highland Dance Champion.
